If you are skating as your primary workout activity, then the K2 Alexis Inline Skate is the ideal skate for you. Incorporating BOA dialed in performance system, with the turn of dial, you can secure the proper fit. We were the first to use it on our Snowboard boots and now we bring the technology to our inline skates. It features V02 Alu frame, 84mm wheels and ILQ-7 bearings and is the perfect introduction to bigger wheels. The Alexis naturally comes with 84mm wheels allowing for great speeds, depending on where you are skating, or your ability. K2's Softboot designs incorporate breathable, comfortable, and flexible materials that fit and function like a second skin while substantially reducing overall weight. The Alexis is for the fitness skater who wants to experience the speed of an aluminum framed skate. A medium frame length that is both maneuverable and stable at speed. This rigid construction gives the skater better power transfer and better feel of the terrain.In 2002, TwinCam introduced a 6 ball design engineered specifically for inline skate usage. This design has proved to be the best inline bearings on the market due to its increased load rating. K2 has spent countless hours testing bearings and nothing we have tested rolls as smooth or fast as a TwinCam ILQ bearing.K2 is the only skate brand that does this. K2 Womens cuffs are scalloped to accommodate for a womans lower calf shape, thus a more comfortable skate. K2 Womens skates use the lightest materials on the market to create a skate that is properly balanced for the skating woman
